Our storyValues
  • I found Amity Vet Service to be excellent, kind and compassionate, informative and helpful both to myself and my dog.  I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

  • I took my dog to amity vets to have a leg operation. The operation was very successful, lenon and his staff were absolutely fantastic, I would recommend it to anyone. For the help, kind understanding and the service provided was second to none.

  • Just had our first visit to Amity, with our Dog, Fizzy and kitten, Millie. Wow what a marvellous experience for all of us, Fizzy likes vets anyway, but Millie was very nervous, they took such care of both of them, for vaccinations and flea/worming treatment.

I love the idea of separate consultation rooms, a dog one and a cat one, such a great idea. Lennon, gave my husband myself and Fizzy the full tour of the practice, i loved the separate dog and cat recovery areas, and the use of baby monitors, such simple but very thoughtful ideas.

I will definitely be recommending Amity to everyone I know. This is such a lovely practise, it s warm and friendly and very welcoming. The surroundings are homely not clinical, and staff made us very welcome.

Great work team, we love it.

  • We have recently visited Amity Vets with our old border terrier, who has several issues. We wanted to know how to proceed in the best way with him for the future and Lennon recommended tests and procedures, so that we could be aware of what we were dealing with. Finn (the dog) and I are always made to feel so welcome and special and at last, we have definite and concise information to work with. Finn had an anaesthetic yesterday with teeth out and tests and when we popped in today for our post-op check up, he ran up the steps with his tail wagging, which must be a really good indication of how well he was cared for when I left him. Thank you guys for your care. So much information to take in, but well and carefully explained.

  • This place is amazing! It is like something out from Country Living!

  • Really nice place, I was impressed to be given a guided tour of the premises, something you never get at the Vets. Really nice vet and staff, good luck with your new business, I will be back.

  • My chihuahua Ziva became very unwell so I took her to amity and I’m so glad I did both the receptionist and the vet Lennon was very nice they made me feel welcome and he explained everything about the treatment and any questions I had I felt comfortable to ask him.  She’s so much better now and getting stronger by the day I would recommend this vets for sure as I have been to another vets b4 I knew about this one but they weren’t as friendly I will be reregistering my other 2 dogs with them to thank u so much amity

  • Took our Yorkshire terrier Pip to Lennon to be checked out as he has been suffering with a bad cough for a while now, outwardly you would not know there was anything wrong with him if you Didn’t hear him cough he is 13 he is .very active Lennon checked him over decided to do a blood test to check heart liver etc,as he needed to go to sleep to have x rays and a camera down his throat, tests came back fine so he went in to have the tests .We did know that Pips teeth needed cleaning so had them done at the same time, when we went to get him back he was fine just drowsy, Lennon told us his tracia was a little narrow in places and we know this is a problem with small Yorkshire terriers, but he has improved, and when we took him back for his check up he wasn’t afraid at all so that alone gives you confidence and satisfaction. We would definitely recommend Lennon and his team they were great.

  • I’ve been here today with one of my precious little friends – Zygmunt. I’m very impressed with welcoming atmosphere, professional staff, modern equipment and wide range of services Amity offers. I even got a tour around a clinic! It feels like after a couple of hit and misses, me and my menagerie found a place to come back

  • My dog is quite active so I had real concerns about having her spayed in the traditional way. I heard about ‘laparoscopic spay’ and was put in touch with Amity. I had a long chat with Lennon and he took time to clearly explain the process & differences of other methods. On the day Kyrie was booked in I felt quite nervous & worried but Lennon and Niamh took so much care with her that I left feeling happy to leave in their safe hands. The operation went well & I soon had Kyrie back home. Kyrie has needed no pain relief, or lampshade & although sleepy, the scars are so small its as if she had nothing done!! Today she had her first short lead walk too. Whilst the procedure was a little more expensive it was well worth it. The care Kyrie received from Lennon & Niamh has been exceptional. I am now registering all my dogs here. Thank you for looking after my ‘fur baby’ so well. Kyrie says thank you for the biscuits too!

  • I took my dog Charlie to Amity for his vaccinations and a check up. Lennon and his team were great, I was able to get my appointment exactly when I wanted and the friendly and relaxed atmosphere made Charlie feel at home. We even got a full tour of the practice and impressive facilities! Thanks Amity!

  • If you are looking for a good veterinary practice go no further than Amity! I have known Lennon for many years during which time he has always been an utterly reliable, thoughtful and caring person. I am so delighted that he has now got his own practice and couldn’t register my cats quick enough! He has created a very friendly, welcoming, warm surgery with a brilliant team to support him. Do go along…….. you won’t be disappointed!

    Linda Smale – 16th May 2017
  • Lennon looked after one of my cats when he worked at another surgery. He always made sure we understood exactly what was being done and why. When it came to saying goodbye to our little girl, he performed the procedure in an extremely dignified manner.

It is a shame that he has now moved to somewhere that is too far to take our other cats to, but I would have no hesitation in recommending Lennon to anyone.
